The new Biologicals platform is designed around segregation, dedicated assets and controlled operating flows.

Water-based biologicals, agronutrients / plant extracts, microorganism-based products

SC / ADVANCED LIQUIDS

Suspension concentrates, dispersion + high-performance milling, dedicated storage and filtration

SOLIDS / GRANULES

Granulars and microgranulars, powders / microgranules packaging, dedicated dust/fume abatement

In our Bio department we integrate R&D, industrial scale-up, formulation, packaging and quality control, protecting the integrity of the product and ensuring reliable and scalable processes.

BIOLOGICALS

Laboratory, R&D and Quality Control

New dedicated Lab area for biologicals, supporting product development and quality control:

  • dedicated area for microbiological analyses, equipped with specialized instrumentation
  • in-house expertise in microorganisms and plant extract-based products
  • development of new analytical methods
  • collaboration with external laboratories for multi-residue analyses.

BIOLOGICALS

Solid Formulation and Packaging

Dedicated department for the formulation and packaging of solid biological products.

FORMULATION

  • Granules and microgranules for spraying applications, supported by dedicated filtration and dust/fume abatement systems
  • Capacity of up to 1,500 kg/h

PACKAGING

  • Powder and microgranules dedicated fill&pack in 5 -10-20 kg bags
  • Capacity of up to 1,500 kg/h

BIOLOGICALS

Liquid and Advanced Liquid Formulation (SC-OD)

Dedicated facilities exclusively for the formulation of liquid biological products, including suspension concentrates (SC), with process equipment integrated with the company’s ERP and MES systems.

BIOLOGICAL LIQUIDS

  • Mixers: 20 m³, 10 m³ and 5 m³, equipped with heating/cooling systems
  • Horizontal decanter centrifuge
  • Dedicated filtration and dust/fume abatement systems (scrubbers)
  • Capacity of up to 30,000 liters/day

ADVANCED LIQUIDS (SC-OD)

  • Dedicated SC line for biological products: 3 × 5,000 L vessels, dispersing machine, high-performance mill (up to 2,000 kg/h), 20,000 L storage tank
  • Capacity of up to 25,000 liters/day

From formulation to packaging: this process is made possible by Biorita, the new packaging machine designed and entirely developed in-house.

PACKAGING OFFER

  • 5 / 10 / 20 L containers, with a capacity of over 7,000 liters/hour
  • New dedicated automatic palletizing area for biological products
  • New line for small- and medium-sized liquid formats, from 0.25 to 5 L, dedicated to biological solutions — SCHEDULED FOR 2027
