Diastar Maxi®: comprehensive protection and nutrition for corn

The early stages of corn development are among the most delicate: the crop, in fact, is strongly affected by low spring temperatures and the limited capacity of the root system to absorb nutrients. In recent years, new cultivation techniques and climate change have increased the need for protection from infestations of terrestrial insects such as wireworms, cutworms, tipulids and corn rootworms.

These pests, particularly active in the early stages of the crop cycle, can compromise final yield and grain quality.

Diastar Maxi® is a combined-action Diachem corn geoinsecticide that combines defense and nutrition in a single formulation.

Diastar Maxi® in fact contains:

• Tefluthrin 0.5%, insecticide with high vapor pressure that ensures rapid contact effect and strong repellent action
• MAP (Monoammonium Phosphate), source of readily available phosphorus and nitrogen
• essential micronutrients such as manganese and zinc, essential for root development and photosynthesis.

Thanks to this composition, Diastar Maxi® effectively protects corn and other sensitive crops from soil insects, while promoting greater vegetative vigor, resistance to environmental stresses and early flowering.
